Dear Members of the Revenue Committee:
The Elkhorn Public Schools District submits this letter in opposition to LB 1063. We request that this letter be made a part of the public record.
LB 1063 would change statutes regarding the use and levy for the Special Building Fund.
Elkhorn Public Schools is a persistently growing school district. Student growth puts constant pressure on our facilities. Over the past 30 years, the District鈥檚 patrons have approved 12 bond issues for the acquisition of sites, construction of new facilities, additions, and updates to existing facilities, etc.
