The Elkhorn Public Schools submits this letter in opposition to LB 1081. We request that this letter be made a part of the public record.
LB 1081 establishes class size limits on both general and special education classes.
As a district, Elkhorn Public Schools has prioritized maintaining a smaller class size, particularly at the elementary level. As a growing school district, we spend time each fall with a variety of stakeholder groups to review the priorities associated with providing a high quality education for all students.
